Tim Reese is the Executive Director of the California/Nevada Community Action Partnership (Cal/Neva), state association representing Community Action agencies and is the director of the federal Regional Performance Innovation Consortium LINKS.
Born in San Diego, California, Tim’s formative years were spent in Kenya and Uganda. He graduated from the American International School of Kabul and is also a graduate of Vanguard University and Pepperdine University.
Tim began his work in human services as a special education teacher, then as a counselor for disabled students, transitioned into brain injury rehabilitation and was executive director of a six county HIV/AIDS services provider.
He was the first man to lead the largest shelter based domestic violence program in California and in his spare time he taught non-profit management in the American Humanics Program at the Craig School of Business, California State University.
