Between Light and Darkness

Today, Afghanistan is a hot topic across all media throughout the world. Yet there is another Afghanistan -- an Afghanistan of young leaders who want peace. These young leaders do not receive the media attention to broadcast their message for a new Afghanistan -- an Afghanistan where education and small businesses replace guns and tanks -- an Afghanistan where tolerance and human rights replace hatred and violence.

This documentary follows two young leaders of PARSA. Their journey takes us into the heart of Afghanistan where they empower people to become educated, economically self-sufficient, and champions of human rights.
