Get Involved

PARSA was established and has grown through having an active small donor community and through many volunteers who have helped us through the years.  Here are ways you can help:

Visit one of our PARSA projects

Visit our Gift Shop, PARSA’s Afghan Garden Kitchen, or just stop by one of locations to say hello. Contact us to find out more!

Afghan Scouts

Scouts all over the world connect with PARSA Afghan Scouts and include us in Eagle projects, send items to us for merit badges, and support us through sponsoring a scout troop or Scout Masters training.  For details about supporting our national initiative to grow a volunteer scout program in Afghanistan please contact Tamim Hamkar at hamkar_asa@yahoo.com.

Helping and Loving Orphan’s (H.A.L.O) and founder Betty Tisdale has supported PARSA programs for ten years now providing support for our children’s programs and orphan work.  Donating to her organization will support her yearly donation to PARSA programs in Afghanistan.  H.A.L.O is a US registered 501c3 non-profit.

Canadian Women 4 Women has supported PARSA for fourteen years and their yearly donations support core staff training and development.  2012 they supported our financial upgrades that have allowed us to put our finances on Quickbooks and to pass an external audit. Their funding is targeted on developing PARSA Afghan staff so they can step into leadership and sustain the programs in the future.
