David Miura

David has over forty years experience in the Boy Scouts of America. As a youth, he earned his Eagle award, Order of the Arrow Vigil and William T. Hornaday conservation award. As an adult, he continues serving Scouting as a board member, volunteer and trainer. He completed Wood Badge training and served as Wood Badge course director and Cluster Coordinator. He currently serves on the Pacific Skyline Council Executive Board as Council Camping Committee Chairman.

In addition to his domestic service, David has a strong interest in international Scouting and served as the Pacific Skyline Council International Representative and attended the 2011 World Scout Jamboree. One of David’s hobbies is collecting world Scout memorabilia.

Professionally, David has a 28-year career at Kaiser Permanente where he is currently Director of Operations, National Patient Care Services. David holds an MBA degree from the University of California Haas School of Business and MS and BA degrees from Stanford University.
