I’m Aziza and I am a 13 year old Afghan girl. I have two sisters and a brother. While my dad was alive we had a very happy live, but when he died we passed lots of problems and difficulties. When my dad died it was the worst period of my life, and we had lonely life.

My uncle wanted my mom to get marry with him, but my mom did not accept his request then he said if you do not want to get marry with me you should leave my house and on that time everyone wanted to separate us from our mom. While we moved from our Province Kapisa to Kabul even we did not have enough food to eat and one day a person helped my mom and said “there is an orphanage that you can take your children in” Now I am very happy that I am in the Allahoddin orphanage.

Question: Why do I want to study at university?

To help my family and our society and also I will prove that I am an Afghan and capable girl.
